AMAZING EXPERIENCE

May 2021 – Melody J

This was our first time ever to Myrtle Beach and prior to going my husband said “I am going to try parasailing” my response was “have fun”. Well let me tell you this. We got there, the staff were super organized, check in was easy, waiting to go on the banana boat out to the boat/sail was not too long but long enough to chat and get to know other folks going with us. Russ was amazing to chat o be supportive as well he made me feel more relaxed by joking with us. The captain of the Banana boat Tuck( I think that was his name) was also really fun Once we made it to the boat I was starting to get a bit anxious but Captain Jess was AWESOME his humor just put me at ease. I asked how long he had been doing this and he quickly responded “This is day two” LOL he definitely was way experienced even though I had no clue what he was doing …you could just tell. He was funny and honestly just kept me not thinking about the fear I had. I was literally ready to bail but he kept it flowing so I didn’t have time to think about it. As i buckled in and was ready to go up he saw that I was hanging on for dear life and said “sweet heart, don’t hold so tight your hands will cramp quick” yeah I still did and he was right they cramped. We went up quick and my husband was in pure heaven , not going to lie I was still scared like crazy but I also felt safe and that was what was the most important part to me. The knowledge and confidence of the entire staff dropped my fear level down a lot.

Awesome time

Jul 2020 – Sachjen from Jefferson, GA

We had an 8:00 am appointment today. We got there and every person working there was amazing. The banana boat ride out there with Buck was awesome. Our captain on the boat was Randy and he was amazing as was his first mate. We will definitely come back again.

Anniversary Getaway

Oct 2020 – m1234r from Pleasant Hill, MO

We had a blast parasailing for one of our 25th Anniversary adventures! We rode a banana boat to the boat and back to the beach which was a fun addition. The crew was very kind and knowledgeable. They did a great job monitoring the weather from the boat and land, there were some dark clouds moving in. They were behind schedule due to the winds and needing to change equipment but we met many nice people hanging out on the beach waiting! We will definitely use Aloha again and will recommended friends heading to that area.

Conquering fear of heights is no small feat.. This was my chance..

Sep 2020 – Curiouspb from Boyertown, PA

With having a chronic illness I do not get to do activities like this many days in a row. So I have not done anything of this nature in years. I rested up and my husband and I made reservations to Parasail with Aloha. They were always courteous on the phone and answered all of our questions. Parking could be tricky as we had to park in a small metered lot. I am sure in peak season parking could be an issue. however, we had no issue in September finding a parking spot. We picked a beautiful sunny afternoon with low humidity. We were greeted promptly and in the most friendliest of manners. We loved the free photo and banana boar ride to the parasailing boat. We opted for a private parasail which meant we opted to pay an extra fee. For us this was well worth the extra fee. Please remember to tip your boat captains and factor this into your cost. Also definitely get the photo package well worth the extra cost as well. They do also offer coupons so make sure you get one out of the local guides. Our experience was so much fun. The water was fairly calm for our banana boat ride which was great for me because it was a fun smooth ride and I had not ridden on a raft in years. For me that was almost as much fun as the Parasailing. Actually for me, to be honest it was more fun since I am scared of heights. So once on the boat I was excited to get started as I had parasailed years ago. However, I did not remember just having a harness and no seat. I was excited for take off and when we were not so high but as we got higher I felt like my harness was not under me properly. I was holding on with a kung fu grip and so tightly my arm went numb and I was loosing strength in my arm (I have a chronic illness so that does not take much) anyway My husband was enjoying the ride and trying to point out to me the dolphins, which I did see and that made me smile and I was happy to see them. He also had me look down he coast line at Gods beauty and I was able to see and that was fun. So it was fun and terrifying all at once. My husband waived us in because I was scared and turns out I lasted almost the full time. I must say our captains rocked and were great as well as the entire staff from check in on the beach, the banana boat ride folks to the captains. What a great experience. I would definitely do the banana boat ride again for sure.. The parasailing was awesome even though I was scared I am happy I gave it a fly! LOL
